Awareness Poster "Food can be your biggest enemy"

I should start by saying that, bring my ideas to Photoshop is not easy, I say it before I am saying it again. Every tip you think I should have used, or advice would be greatly appreciate it, as I am trying to do a better job.

My only trouble with getting ready this picture was that apple, I wanted everybody to be able to see the apple as well as the bomb, blend it together was not easy... Full opacity with normal blend mode was not pretty looking at all, so I changed it to full Opacity but with "vivid light" blend mode which made the bomb a little transparent but still well defined, This way I could a blend the apple color with the bomb a little bit better. I also decide to use the healing brush and play with the colors and contrast. Following you can see the pictures that I've used for this Poster.

Poster awareness Sketches

The message I am trying to express is "be aware of what is in your food" I have strong feelings about this topic, as I am very very passionate about my health and the environment as well as animals. The food that we are eating can easily affect everything that is around us silently, if we are aware of what we are supporting as buyers, we decide to do good or bad. But unfortunately most people are in the darkness of ignorance. Here are my sketches;

I felt like putting in some color #1 was inspired by my memories in Paraguay. We were always infested with ants that would eat all of our food. But they would never eat anything that had pesticides on it, how smart are they right? a lot smarter than us I would say. 
#2 You can observe a girl eating an apple, which has pesticides as well as GMO. The apple/bomb represents how toxic and destructive it can be for all of us and our planet, is just a matter of time of it to explode. #3 I knew I wanted to create something referring to GMO products, so I drew a hand holding a potato while GMO is trying to attack with vaccines to change it genetics. 
I wish I was a lot more creative to do more sketches but this is what my mind came up with, hope everybody enjoyed my sketches and understood my message. xoxo

Photomontage 1 and 2

Hello everyone! Welcome.
This project has been so much fun but frustrating at the same time because what you imagine in your mind is far more amazing than what a Photoshop can do to bring it to life. At least now that I do not have the necessary skills or training to do it so.
Now let me show you my sketches and explain them.

This first image was inspired in the galactic theme, I draw a figure that is made of "nebula" and she is a DJ by the way, DJyng Saturn! Which in my mind I pictured so great and colorful.

Now I had in mind something more simple and with the galactic theme as well, a girl singing but with the moon as her microphone :)

Of course I go through my phone all the time, and I listen to music every time I clean, do exercise, take a shower, etc. So this image is a reflect of that. A phone with headphones in a heart shape.

This one I remember came to my mind like a flash while I was eating dinner, I had to eat really fast to draw it before I forget it.

I loveeeee trees so I had to include one, this is a tree which leaves are made of musical notes.

This is a eye that represents a soul, and the musical note represents its passion.




Now I have chosen the first two sketches to use for my first time photoshop exercices. I am a little bit disappointed because I was expecting to do exactly what I pictured on my mind, but photoshop is not easy at all to use, so I am still proud of my work.

This one was my biggest challenge haha, I really really wanted to keep the same figure as my drawing, so I used Illustrator to do it, the next step was putting the nebula picture inside the figure, it was a total challenge as I already said so my work is far from perfect but I truly did my best, I used a DJ picture to use the table, I deleted the DJ from the picture, and I add the stars background, and Saturn of course.

Now, I know this girl looks nothing like my drawing haha But she serves the purpose, initally I wanted to keep it the same way as my drawing but I also have my limitations :) So I used a picture of Ariana Grande and add the moon in her microphone, as well as a little bit of nebula on her skin to keep the galactic theme strong!
